February 2025 at Little Planes Farm – Snow, Piglets, and More!

Chris Lewis

Well folks, we survived Snowmageddon 2025! On January 21st, we got a whole five and a half inches of snow, which is about as rare around here as a chicken with dentures. Hopefully, you all got outside and built some fine snowmen

(or, if you're like us, just stood there questioning life choices while trying to find gloves that match).

February is officially here, which means love is in the air, the groundhog is making wild weather predictions, and tax season is lurking like a possum on the porch. But here at Little Planes Farm, we’re in full swing!

More Feed, More Fun!

We’ve got more inventory than ever, and our next freight truck arrives this Friday! Got a special order? Need something specific? Just let us know—we’ve got you covered! And don’t forget, we also do Custom Feed Mixes for your animals. The only catch? You gotta buy at least a pallet (40 bags). So if you’re feeding a small army of livestock (or just one very hungry goat), we’ve got what you need.

Piglet Season is Here!

That’s right—it’s officially piglet season! We’ll soon have little bundles of porky joy running around, ready for their new homes. If you’re looking to raise some piggies, now’s the time to start planning! And if you just want to admire the cuteness, well, we get that too.

Snowmageddon 2025 – A Rare Sight

We only get a real snowstorm about once every 4-5 years, and this one didn’t disappoint. Want to take a stroll through the snowy wonderland without freezing your nose off? Check out this week’s video: "Snowmageddon 2025 – A drive Through the Snow!"

Fun February Fact

February is the only month that can go without having a full moon! Because it's the shortest month (even in leap years), sometimes it skips out on a full lunar cycle entirely. This phenomenon, called a "Black Moon," happens roughly once every 19 years, with the next occurrence expected in 2037

Useless fact? Maybe. Fun fact? Definitely.

That’s all for now, folks! Stay warm, keep those water buckets from freezing, and as always, let us know how we can help!
